Bible Reading Plans

It is Important to read a portion of the God’s Word every day!

God’s Word is your spiritual food. Just as you wouldn’t go days between meals physically – neither should you spiritually! God’s Word is a light to make your way in this dark world.

The amount of reading isn’t as important as that you take the time to read everyday. Mornings are usually best as it will help set the tone for your day.

There are 2 links – one is for a 180 Tour of the Bible – 1 chapter per day and is a great starting point, the other is a plan to read the whole Bible in the next year!

The one year plan is divided into 7 different sections: The Law, History, Psalms, Poetry, Prophecy, Gospels, Epistles. You read from one section each day. This helped me not to get bogged down in certain sections of the Bible that I found less interesting or more difficult.

You can download both or whichever plan you choose. Just Do It!

Remember God’s Promise found in Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
