Tim & Kelly Urling

After serving as Missionaries in Mexico for 25 years, Brother Tim Urling and his wife Kelly were called as our senior pastor in August of 2023.

Brother and Mrs. Urling were used of the Lord to Help establish ten churches during their time in Mexico.

Both Tim and Kelly have a passion to see the lost come to know Christ and for Christ to change their lives for His honor and glory.

Due to their extensive ministry in Mexico another passion is world-wide missions, and the church currently supports over 75 missionary families or projects.

The Urlings were trained for the ministry under their late pastor Bro. Charley O'Daniel and Tim received his degree in missions from Oklahoma Baptist College.

Westside Baptist is remaining true to the doctrines and practices established under the late Dr. Carl Chitwood who started Westside Baptist Temple in El Paso in June of 1978.

Alex, Hillary & Clayton Clem

Alexander Clem grew up in Washington State in a home where his family was just beginning their walk with the Lord.

While he was highly involved in his local church from a young age, his faith became truly his own at age 25 when he accepted Christ as his personal Savior.

A veteran of both the United States Marine Corps and the Army Reserves, Alex brings a deep sense of dedication to everything he does.

After giving his life to Christ, he eagerly stepped into various areas of ministry and education, serving as a Christian school teacher and later a high school principal.

Through the ministry at Woodin Valley Baptist Church, Alex answered the call to preach. This led him to Oklahoma City to attend Heartland Baptist Bible College.

His wife, Hillary, was raised in a faithful Baptist pastor’s home and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at the age of seven.  Also a graduate of Heartland Baptist Bible College, Hillary dedicated 12 years to teaching in Christian education.

She is currently enjoying her role as a stay-at-home mom to their son, Clayton, and to serve the Lord faithfully alongside her husband at Westside Baptist Temple.
