Date Night – Feb. 3rd, 2023
“So, what’s this Date Night about?” You may be wondering.
This an opportunity to stop with the busy-ness of life and reconnect with your spouse. It allows a couple to talk about themselves and their relationship, not because they are having any troubles but because it is a fun and healthy thing to do.
God delights in healthy relationships and marriages!
Much of the time we talk about work, bills, decisions that need to be made, kids, and life responsibilities. It is not often that we set time aside to simply enjoy each other. Date Nights are designed to allow you to do just that – and focus on the one you married. And, age does not matter. It is for every married couple.
On the date night, a special envelope created for this particular night, will be given to you. Enclosed will be questions for you to use while on your date. They are meant to be thought-provoking and fun, and most importantly they focus on you and your marriage relationship.
- On this Date Night (Feb 3rd), the questions will be centered around the past: favorite childhood memories and favorite times together, best dates, etc.
- Future Date nights will have other topics but all will be designed to strengthen your relationship with each other and the Lord.
For couples with children, free childcare, pizza, and fun will be provided at the church for your children. You must RSVP to allow us proper planning.

Door prizes will be given out at 5:45 – Including but not limited to gift cards and cash prizes but only for those who arrive on time!
So, we will gather at church at 5:45 p.m. in the auditorium, (children will gather in the fellowship hall). We’ll prayer together, have a brief Bible challenge, receive our envelopes, and depart each on our own. Spend time wherever you choose: take a walk, eat out, go to a favorite spot… and enjoy talking together.
So, Mark your calendars and Don’t miss this time to invest in your marriage!

- This night is for anyone wanting to strengthen their marriage. Invite friends to come and take their spouse on a date. Not just for Church members!
- Date Night will begin promptly at 5:45 with a brief warm-up and marriage challenge by Pastor Larry Lewis of Ruidoso Baptist Church.
- Please pick up your children by 9:00 pm at the latest.
- If 9:00 p.m. is too late for you, you can come back sooner to pick children up a little early.
- Spend time wherever you choose: take a walk, eat out, go to a favorite spot… and enjoy talking together.
- Forget about the troubles and worries and have fun!
- Rekindle the flames in your marriage!
