Care Team
Provides assistance to those recovering from surgery or illness by providing meals, mowing lawns, and helping with cleaning or yard work. Team members are scheduled on rotation and called upon when a need arises.
Children’s Ministry Team
Cares for and teaches our children. Responsibilities include assisting in Sunday school or Junior Church, teaching Bible lessons and memory verses, and helping with special activities.
Choir Team
Provides an opportunity for you to serve the Lord and the congregation through the gift of music. The Choir Team sings during regular and special services.
Compassionate Outreach Team
Helps the growing population of needy people in our city hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and know His love for them.
Decoration Team
Enhances the church property and events with modern, classy visual elements. Team responsibilities include setting up for special events, seasonal themes, renovations, and banquets.
Discipleship Team
Helps new believers or those who wish to grow in the Lord by teaching them how to study and apply the Bible. This is usually a one-on-one ministry lasting several weeks.
Kitchen Team
Westside hosts many events, and the Kitchen Team is vital as they prepare and serve meals at gatherings like our Birthday and Anniversary celebration, Pray and Go meal and other special events.
Wednesday Kids Team
Runs a program for children during ours midweek services from September through May. Members engage children with a relevant Bible program and provide a safe, fun environment for them to enjoy.
Nursery Team
Provides childcare for infants and toddlers during Westside's services. Teen girls and adult ladies serve on a rotation, generally working in pairs.
This vital ministry allows mothers to enjoy the services uninterrupted.
Media Team
Plays a vital role in shaping our visual and online presence. Team members help create graphics for screens and print materials. The team also helps manage our website and social media accounts.
Special Music Team
Provides exciting, Christ-honoring music for our congregation to participate in and enjoy. Team members perform solos or in groups during regular and special services. Instrumentalist team members play offertory music or accompany special music.
Security Team
Maintains safety and protects church attendees. This Team represents the watchful eye of our church. Details about team responsibilities and procedures are provided to members upon acceptance.
Hopsitality Team
Represents the friendly face of Westside by welcoming visitors and members, providing assistance, and the overall guest experience. Responsibilities include giving visitor gifts and ensuring first-time guests fill out connection cards and receive their gift.
AV and Sound Team
Works behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly. Members will help to serve in the sound booth, handling tasks such as setting up microphones, managing graphics and song lyrics, and operating the sound board.
Usher Team
Assists people and the Pastor by helping first-time guests and late arrivals find seats, passing out bulletins, greeting attendees, managing distractions, collecting offerings, and addressing needs during services.
