-Church of Galatia, was founded by the Apostle Paul and Barnabus, during their first missionary

journey.

-It was written to Jewish Christians who were trying to make the new Gentile Christians obey

the teachings of the under the old Jewish Law.

-Paul, told them, that Salvation is strictly by faith in Jesus Christ.

-I want to preach to you today, about the one word found in vs 10 of our text: #SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"65As we have

-There are many wonderful gifts which the Lord Jesus gives to man.

-Of all of these gifts, which is the Greatest?

-There is a word in this text which presents quite an answer to that question, and that word is

#SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"65OPPORTUNITY#SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"64.

-Opportunity is a very wonderful gift, that God has given every person.

-It means that I can be something today that I wasn#SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"61t yesterday.

-It means that as long as I live on this earth, God has greater things for me to do in the future,

because of greater gift of opportunity!

-This means, that opportunity is ours from God and He will help us to not fail H:im, so long as our hearts are right with Him.

-But the word #SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"65opportunity#SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"64 means little, unless we realize what those opportunities are and then

that we act upon those gifts of opportunities that the Lord Jesus has given us.

-What opportunities are given us by our Lord Jesus Christ?

A. The invitation to come to Christ is extended to every person on this earth, that has ever

lived, living now, and whosoever will live. John 1:8; Rom. 1:20

1. The Lord Jesus offers any person full and free salvation without price by grace alone.

2. Every lost person here today has the opportunity to be saved today, if they will choose

to do it. ( Explain the simplicity of Salvation.) Acts 16:31, #SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"65Believe on the Lord

Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved.#SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"64 (How hard is that)

3. When you and I who have been saved, believe upon Him, we were instantly and

eternally saved. (Crawford#SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"61s #SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"67 Man in Michigan.)

4. The Bible does not say, #SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"65Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be put on

Probation.

a. The Word of God promises instantly, eternal and everlasting life, when one is saved.

A. When we do this, we are promised that we will bring to pass the perfect will of God,

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

B. Let#SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"61s face it, the lives of most people in our world are simply worthless.

1. For all the pople who have lived and are now living, I would say about 90% who have

lived and are now living, that at the time of their death, it will be just as though they

have never lived.

a. They may have had large possessions, made millions of dollars, had great prestige,

but, all os this apart from Jesus Christ, means absolutely nothing.. Explain

b. Human fame is no proof whatsoever that life is significant.

c. Therefore, we must remember that every person who is not a Christian, is now

living a wasted life.

C. But let#SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"61s face this fact also, that Christians can waste the use of their life on this earth.

1. Happiness only comes from meeting the responsibilties in this life.

2. Many Christians are living depressed lives, simply because they do not do anything for

The Lord, and they still expect God to do everything for them.

3. We are here on the earth to help make a difference in people#SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"61s lives for Christ#SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"61s sake.

4. Listen to me, never was a testimony given, never was a tract distributed, never was a

Word for Christ spoken which was void and without consequence. Iss. 55.

5. God gives us in this life the opportunity to serve Him by doing vital things which will

make an everlasting impact in the lives of others.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

A. This is the final, joyous reward of a life live for the Glory of God.

IV. WILL YOU TAKE THE OPPORTUNITIES THAT YOU HAVE TO START WORKING FOR THE LORD? GAL. 6:9

A. We all have the same resources in taking the opportunities that God has given us to

Work for Him.

1. We have today, the Word of God, Prayer, we have one another, we have knowledge

of what the Gospel is, we all can witness of Jesus Christ, to others, we all have the

Local Church and the opportunities of service, there, a Pastor, and we all have the

Power of the Holy Spirit of God, in order to do the Lord#SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"61s Work.

B. There is a principle taught in the Bible about opportunity, and that is this, #SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"65opportunity

that is used, leads to greater opportunities.

1. One secret of be used greatly by the Lord, is to respond to every opportunity that

The Lord gives you to serve Him.

-Learn one thing today, if you do not learn anything else, learn to use one of God#SYMBOL \f "WP TypographicSymbols"61s greatest

Gifts, and that is the Gift of Opportunity!
